How many free web directories could be out there? At a close look, I believe there are more then 2000, maybe even more. I saw several lists with directories, some of them had MGC on them, and some of them didn’t have my directory. I always check the top of the lists, and, I must say, I find that My Green Corner is much better the many of them. I don’t really care about the “prestige” of the directory owner, it’s about the listings in a directory and about their quality.
It’s very true, these lists are made as a marketing product. Directory owners pay to get their directory on a list, or, they are simply friends to the person that make the list. A new comer could find it very hard to get his directory in any list, even if his website is worthy and would mean a valuable resource to web-surfers out there. So, why is this happening? Why are Dmoz editors so corrupt? I mean, Dmoz is one of the greatest directories on web, but the people behind it are so conservator and sometimes, so full of … themselves 
Today, My Green Corner is number one for “free web directory” and “best “web directory” (incredible, isn’t it? It’s stronger then botw) and many other keywords out there. I’m really happy for my directory, things are going so good right now.
